Estimate a month of AWS usage, then see the AMI charge separately. USD estimates use US East (N. Virginia) example rates; edit them below to match your AWS quote.
Sizing depends on your sources, resolution, graphics, and recording. Test your real show. Storage assumes you keep the volumes for the full month, including while stopped.
IPv4 estimate assumes addresses exist only during running hours. Retained Elastic IP addresses can also be billed while stopped.
Optional MediaConnect NDI flows
Only add flows if your workflow uses MediaConnect. The AMI does not require it. Flow charges are separate from your EC2 instance count.
Check or adjust AWS rates
Compute presets are planning estimates for Windows On-Demand, shared tenancy, us-east-1. Confirm current rates in AWS Pricing Calculator. Discounts, other Regions, storage performance, and configurations change costs.
Changing instance size resets the compute rate to that size’s example preset. Other AWS costs are a total for the whole setup, not per instance.

What could the saved setup time be worth?
Compare preparing a base Windows machine yourself with starting from the AMI. These are illustrative assumptions, not measured savings. Change them to match your experience.
Counts new base-machine preparations, not every start or show. Excludes account signup, quota approvals, installing production applications, networking specific to your show, and rehearsal. Time value is an opportunity-cost estimate, not cash earned or an AWS bill reduction; it is not subtracted from the monthly cost.
